the pub serves drinks only, which is quaint but extremely frustrating as there’s no dining options. the staff was surprisingly rude, like my presence was a bother. I expected at least a welcome gift for my troubles, but no such luck. Without these, it’s hard to fathom the rate I had to pay here, truly disappointing.

Location is unbeatable, right in the town center! Friendly staff make the stay more enjoyable, with plenty of nearby food options available.

The rooms are surprisingly pleasant and clean, equipped with modern amenities like a good shower and a fridge. The mixed roast Sunday lunch was also a hit, offering a great option for a meal during my visit.
Finding the car park is a bit of a treasure hunt due to poor signage. you really have to pay attention to not miss it, especially at night. Noise from drinkers outside can be bothersome, especially on weekends, and the chairs in the room leave much to be desired. The spotters for the TV are too high for comfort, and it could use a hand wash in the bathroom instead of those sachets, which fall short on convenience.

I had a canny time at this place! The room was reet spacious and quiet, and I had a belter of a night's sleep. Only downside was finding the car park – could do with a bit more signage, like. Otherwise, proper good!

I had a pleasant surprise during my stay. The rooms were clean and well furnished. I found the shower efficient. My friend and I enjoyed playing darts in the bar. Despite the initial confusion about the car park location, my stay was comfortable and met my needs as a couple looking for a night away.
Finding the car park was challenging due to unclear directions. There were no dining options available.

This place suits me perfectly with great amenities like Wi-Fi, a flat-screen TV, and an electric kettle. The staff were very helpful to my elderly parents during our first stay. I highly recommend it for its comfort. I'm coming back for a city trip.

Comfortable stay in a quiet spot
We had a cozy night with comfy beds and a super clean bathroom. The staff were friendly and even helped us find nearby places to grab dinner since they don't serve food here. The only bummer was the lack of dining options at the hotel itself. a nice place to rest after exploring.
